“The team at Studio Freight took our vision for Elliot, our character and voice and wove together a bold ambitious brand. I’m deeply impressed with their flexibility across brand marketing, web design, product iteration among many other things. They operate as part of your team, and mean it when they say that ‘your success is ours’. 10/10 would recommend.” - Marco Marandiz / Co-founder & Head of Marketing for Elliot
Elliot is democratizing entrepreneurship at scale. With a turnkey approach to global eCommerce, Elliot makes it possible to set up a store, sell seamlessly, and ship all over the world. Instantly.Ever bought something online from Africa? Thought not. There’s a massive gap at the intersection of eCommerce, accessible web development, and cross-border fulfillment. Incumbent platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce focus on serving high GMV brands in high GDP markets, while design-first platforms like Squarespace and Wix treat eCommerce as an afterthought. Enter Elliot. The tech emperors all have the same clothes. We worked closely with the Elliot leadership team to develop a new playbook and conceptualize a brand-led SaaS company with the attitude of a hip-hop artist and the taste of a streetwear brand. The result is unlike anything seen before in consumer tech.
The logomark, dubbed the “Presidential Cow,” serves as the banner figure and invitation to the Elliot community. To complement the brand’s colorful voice, we initially created a handful of linework-based supporting illustrations — but they quickly evolved into a full visual language of 100+ graphics packed with inside jokes and cultural references, including icons of a Yeezy sneaker, a bag of cash, and a cartoon middle finger. We created Elliot Supply to be a real example of the Elliot platform’s capabilities. Additionally, the merch was produced as a Gucci-quality extension of their underdog mentality and rebellious commitment to independence. We developed the digital experience, platform UI/UX, and brand campaign to ensure the Elliot flavor is consistently intriguing and internet-approved on all navigational means — for all those looking for inspiration on their phones, tablets, or public library desktops.
